Adult men's basketball teams are wanted for the basketball tournament. "Streetball" is a full court, "5 on 5" Adult Men's Basketball tournament featuring some of the best basketball players in the City of Madison, Milwaukee, Beloit, Rockford and other cities. We are currently looking for teams to participate. Each team in the tournament is guaranteed to play two games (more when advancing to the championship and consolation round games). This tournament features outstanding athletes from around the state and beyond. Teams can have only 12 players maximum per roster. Entry fee of $175 or a deposit of $100 must be made by Monday July 26th.

 

Trophies and awards will be given to the tournament champion, second place and consolation champion. All participating players are given an event t-shirt.

Vendor and Information booths are available for rent. The Streetball and Block Party is an excellent way to reach the community, particularly persons of color. We reserve the right to refuse the application of any person or group. Two large food vendors have been selected to serve ribs, chicken and hot dogs. NO BEVERAGES can be sold by any vendor, beverage sales will be a fundraiser for a non profit agency. Youth dance and drill teams wanted for competition at 5 p.m. Groups will be judged on several categories and the top groups will receive trophies and prizes. This is a family friendly event so we ask that all music and movement be appropriate for an audience of all ages.

We're looking for a few hot rappers and singers to do clean/radio friendly songs for the event. This would be a free performance to help celebrate positive community involvement. This is a family friendly event with an audience of all ages. If you or a performer you know have good clean/radio friendly material particularly songs with positive lyrics and/or party/dance music please have them contact me or send me their contact information.
